Max Kane
This set features so many of the tracks that first got me into house/trance in 1998! Loads of them were on the first CD I ever got too (MOS Ibiza Annual of that year)

Quadrant
The start of Jules's short era of dominance in the UK dance music scene. There's still some seriously wacky tunes in there amongst the gems, but variety was what he was all about. Nice to hear this again, thanks sir! Tremor
This looks quality! Some great tracks and similar to Tom some of the ones that got me into dance/trance. One of my first dance albums was the Clubber's Guide to Ibiza '98 which also featured many of the tracks in this set. Notably he ends with his trademark mix of DJ Nervous - Jack the Groove into Red Light District - Did You Hear Me? Remember when DJ's used to have trademark mixes like this? Basically 2 tracks they would always play together and mix them the same. I believe this was one of them and the same tracks are mixed together on the clubber's guide to Ibiza. Yeah you're spot on about the mix sequence. Love that cd, still dig it out regularly. Mixed Ayla in perfectly after that on the cd. Just flowed so well. Is it Red Light or Ayla that has the irregular beat, ie not 4/4, it's 5/4 or something like that? I know one of them is very tricky to mix, but Jules nails it perfectly on that cd. Sigh.........................

I finally got it on vinyl a couple of years ago but have barely ever mixed it as it's so difficult.
lyndon
I've been listening to this over the last couple of weeks or so. The track selection isn't bad, he has problems with a few of the tracks skipping from the good old days of vinyl. But i've noticed this sounds like a backstage show compared to the Creamfields shows of 2001 and so on, hardly any of the tracks are mixed too. Which is strange, because his Soundcity 97 show a few months before is all mixed and what i'd expect from him.
