    ok, I just relistened to this set and merged the member created TL with the TL already in the archives. now it's almost complete! only track i'm not sure about is whether it's the 49º South Mix or the JDS Mix of 'Dubplate Culture'. Simon: are you 100% certain it's indeed the JDS Mix?

    funny, that's exactly what Simcut said the other day! now how do we find this sucker? There IS a chance that it's listed on Discogs, but without a reference to "Ry Cooder" or "Paris, Texas", it's like searching for a needle in a haystack

    amazing! It must have been some year at Ibiza back then! Do you have a date on the Bar M show? we're missing it in the archive listings I just re-read your post and you mean that this set really was broadcasted from 'Bar M', correct? Jules says 'Bar M' something like 5 times during the show, so there gotta be something about it by the way, would you care to digitalize the tapes and share them by any chance?

    if you re-encode something already in 128 at a higher bitrate (say 192) it won't be degraded more than a 192 re-encoded to 192... btw, the track at 58-61min is SICK! what track is it?? It's the track just before Jonah - Shh (Listen)

    Lynn: he isn't giving out his Gladiator track.. I know a few from the board have tried maling him about it in the past (including me), with no luck.

    what I don't understand from a non-producer point of view, is why on earth Jules (and everyone else who is producing) isn't keeping at least one copy of every tune ever pressed on vinyl or acetate. I mean, it's their life's work!! Jules claim aswell that he doesn't have the master copy of his Gladiator remix... He might just say that to easy the pressure from geeks like us begging him to release it on whitelabel or 320... hint hint! So that's udnerstandable, but I bet that if he does in fact have it still, he plays it at private ibiza parties or something... for friends only Anyway... I guess producers don't have enough space for storage...
