lennox2s2s
I think that track 19 may be "Poltergeist - Vicious Circles" This is a storming mix in my opinion... Musique vs. U2 - 'New Years Dub' [white label] sounds great, loved this tune, I have always longed for a set from Jules in which he plays this track....this has been on my wanted list for some many years....Much appreciated
Quadrant
My help 01. should know this, sorry 07. Dave Clarke - Before I was so rudely interrupted [i:Crunch.com] 19. Poltergeist - Vicious Circles (Moogwai Remix) Those other unknown tracks are simply amazing sirs! Hope someone can ID them!
FuzzY-LogiC
cheers Q, the TL shall be updated momemtarilty btw, track 19 is in fact named 'Vicious Circles - 'Vicious Circles' (Moogwai Remix) [Platipus]' Check this Discogs page to see why: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Vicious+Circles in short: Vicious Circle is an alias for Poltergeist Edited April 3, 2008 by FuzzY-LogiC
Neuro
Poltergeist is also an alias for.... Art Of Trance! Also more trivia - the I:Crunch outfit folded immediately after releasing that Dave Clarke track in 2000. The reason (incredibly) was that at the time there was virtually no demand for digital music such as mp3s, so they made no money. I believe the same track was pressed onto 500 vinyl copies though, if I remember rightly.
Neuro
14. Angelic - 'Can't Keep Me Silent' (Mix #1) [white label] Interesting charting how this developed, because this is the very first time this was ever played, it seems. There are some extra vocal titbits that were edited out later and a less wholesome-sounding bassline in this early version. Then Jules played a new version a couple of weeks later (Manchester, available here), when it was (for me anyway) at its perfect stage. From what I can hear, that version seems identical to the official release apart from the addition of some kind of breakbeat over the top of the breakdown - no idea why that was necessary! :rubbish:

Quadrant
Welcome to the board Swedgehead! I don't know any of the unknowns in this sirs, sorry! Seem like they're all those obscure tracks Jules used to play back in the day only once, then binned them...

At the time, nobody thought about releasing digital only music and it was most probably laughed at. Some 5 years later however, the penny's dropped. The version played without the breakbeat in the breakdown was my favourite and I only heard it in the same set you are talking about. Would love to get a copy of that, haha. and a correction too: 05.
